Tesla vs. Edison (2015) is a tower defence game created for the Professional Project module of my 3rd year at university. The game’s premise was set out in a brief delivered to us by local development studio Guerilla Tea.
In a team of nine, my main role was animator where my responsibilities included creating character rigs and animating movesets for a total of seven characters. The movesets included attack and death animations for units on both sides as well as a mechanical dinosaur which summons lasers from the sky. I was also heavily involved with character design, game design and overall concept art for the game. We presented to Guerilla Tea throughout the year and received feedback which informed our development process.
