A Kraken Adventure was created in 48 hours for Global Game Jam 2017. The theme was “Waves” which we incorporated into the gameplay and visual design.
Developed by a team of five, most of whom had not met prior, I was one of two artists. Following my Global Game Jam project from last year, I brought coloured paper to the jam with the intention of incorporating it into the game. I helped to create art assets and lead the overall visual aesthetic, working together with the other team members to implement a visual style that complimented with the physicality of our assets.
