As part of drawing practice I made hand drawn maps of regions from the Pokémon games. For this project I explored line techniques and digital painting.
Sinnoh Region
For this map I focused more on developing a fantasy font as well as coloured elements with markers.
Hoenn Region
First full map I created for this project. I drew the map freehand, labelling each city and blocking out the main forest and mountainous areas. The map was later digitally cleaned up and coloured.
